New leases will need efficient cooling in the living area, and failed hot water systems and heaters must go electric. We set up agents, compliance companies and installers to deliver those upgrades - compliant, audit-ready and generally VEU-rebated, subject to eligibility criteria.

Required at every new lease or month-to-month conversion from 1 March 2027, and in every rental by 1 July 2030. One compliant reverse-cycle unit covers both the cooling and heating standards.

From 1 March 2027 a failed hot water system or fixed heater must be replaced with an efficient electric option - heat pump or electric-boosted solar for hot water, reverse-cycle or heat pump for heating. No more like-for-like gas.
See our HVAC and hot water pages for the eligible VEU activities.

Compliance, setup and admin support
Compliant installs, audited paperwork, VEECs paid fast.

The same process behind our audit and compliance, admin assistance and on-site onboarding services.
Tell us whether you're an agent, compliance company or installer and roughly how many properties or jobs you expect.
Installers are onboarded in under a business day. Agents and compliance partners get a referral process and one contact.
Photos, serials and decommissioning records are captured in EPMate on site. We audit every job before lodgement.
We create and trade the VEECs. The rebate is applied to the job and the installer is paid fast.
Whether you manage a rent roll, run rental safety checks or install the equipment, we'll set up the compliance, paperwork and VEEC processing.
