Consignment stock facility

Boost your cashflow and cater for more customers

Step #1

Approved Installation Partners* are eligible to receive consignment stock from our stockists, a strategy designed to enhance their cash flow. This arrangement ensures that installation partners have access to the necessary materials without an immediate financial outlay, allowing them to focus on their core activities.

Step #2

The consignment stock, supplied by our trusted vendors, is used by the installation partners to create energy certificates

Step #3

We hold the energy certificates as collateral, subsequently selling them on behalf of the installation partners. The proceeds from these sales are first used to repay the vendors, ensuring that all supply chain obligations are met. Any remaining balance is then transferred back to the installation partners, providing them with additional financial resources to support their ongoing operations and growth.

* Eligibility criteria apply. The certificates are collateralised and utilised against the consignment stock until repaid through the sale of environmental certificates. A specific Loan-to-Value Ratio (LVR) must be maintained.

VEURebates.com.au is a HVAC channel for Energy Program (N0:A2204) an Accredited Person (AP) within the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program, facilitating access for HVAC installers to secure rebates, enabling installers to participate in the VEU program and benefit from its incentives.

The Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program, formerly known as the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target (VEET) scheme, is an initiative by the Victorian government in Australia. Its primary goal is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by making energy efficiency improvements more affordable, accessible, and attractive to consumers. This is achieved through the creation of financial incentives that help businesses and households implement more energy-efficient technologies, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.

Rebates are made possible by the creation of Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates (VEECs), which can only be created by Accredited Persons.
Energy Program being an Accredited Person (AP) within the Victorian Energy Upgrade Program, enables third-party installers to participate in the program by providing rebates. To be eligible to provide these rebates, one must undergo a stringent accreditation process, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, as verified by the government. This ensures that only qualified entities like our partners can generate and utilise VEECs to offer rebates to the end-consumers.

An Accredited Person (AP) is an entity that has been officially accredited to engage in specific activities governed by the program’s regulations. For the VEU Program, Accredited Persons are authorised to create and trade Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates (VEECs), which are instrumental in facilitating energy efficiency improvements. These certificates represent a quantifiable amount of energy savings and can be traded or sold, providing financial incentives for energy-efficient practices. The role of an Accredited Person is crucial as it ensures that the energy savings and the associated activities meet the stringent standards set by the governing body and are executed in compliance with all relevant regulations.

VEURebates.com.au exclusively offers services to installers and does not directly serve retail consumers.

The program supports a variety of HVAC brands and models that are eligible for incentives, including ERS, Gree, Daikin, Mitsubishi, among others. The categories of eligible products typically include:

  • Single split reverse cycle air conditioners
  • Multi split reverse cycle air conditioners
  • Ducted air conditioners
  • And others

Please contact us to determine if the specific product you carry is approved for the program. Additionally, we can assist in nominating a product once the product approval application has been lodged with the ESC.

Customers eligible for the rebate must meet the following criteria:

  • They are located in the state of Victoria.
  • They have decommissioned old, inefficient heating or cooling equipment, such as central ducted or non-ducted heating systems (to maximise the incentive, no decommissioning scenario is also available, attracting lesser incentives)
  • They have been installed a new HVAC system that is listed as an eligible product under the program.

  • The lead generation, marketing activities and installation are conducted in compliance with VEU code of conduct, VEU requirements, VEET specifications and all additional regulations including Refrigerated Air Conditioning regulations, plumbing, electrical safety, and the Building Code of Australia.
  • The installation is conducted or facilitated by an Accredited Person under the VEU Program.
  • The installation must be conducted in a way where it is compliant with the VBA, ESV, ARCTICK, VEET Specifications, VEU Requirements, EU Code of Conduct, Australian Consumer Law and all other applicable legislations and regulations.
  • (if applicable) The baseline equipment must be decommissioned according to the requirements of the VEU Program

The rebate amounts available through the program vary depending on the current spot price of a Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificate (VEEC) and the overheads of the installer and AP. Typically, the rebate amounts range from approximately $160 to $7,500 for the end consumer.

No. You must collaborate with an Accredited Provider (like Energy Program) under the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program, administred by the Essential Services Commission (ESC).

Installers would need to undergo a training course to ensure they have complete understanding of the scheme, its policies and requirements. They would need to ensure install the new HVAC equipment according to the regulations and requirements of the program and decommission the old equipment compliantly. During the onboarding stage, our team will explain and train your team on how to easily and compliantly ride every job.

We offer two payment options:

  • Cash payment through issuing a Recipient Created Tax Invoice (RCTI)
  • Sending you the Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates (VEECs) for you to trade independently
